This week’s Flash Me Friday is your fridge. You can join Flash Me Friday too, check out The Groettum Family blog.
Here is our pretty, shiny fridge. We are very happy with our appliance choices. Since we bought our house new, we were able to upgrade the appliances and roll the cost into our mortgage. So much better than the tiny fridge we had in the apartment!
Since the front of the fridge isn’t magnetic, we keep everything on the sides. Most important is our weekly meal plan and grocery list.
So, despite the fact that we just finished grocery shopping, our fridge still looks empty. How does this happen? Our grocery bill wasn’t any less than normal. This is usually pretty normal for our fridge.
With “Fatboy” in our house we don’t often have leftovers, and if we do they don’t last long.
Lastly, here are some of the things that make our fridge a CF fridge. Notice several cartons of eggs. Jesse makes huge ham and cheese omelets in the morning in an effort to start packing in the calories first thing. Then we have the medicine drawer. I’m happy if all the medicines are contained here, but occasionally they somehow spread themselves out around the fridge. And then we have the boost plus. We try to keep well stocked so he can grab them often to add calories when he isn’t hungry. We also always have separate milks. I drink 1% and we buy whole milk for Jesse.
