Our favorite place to relax is our living room.  In the evenings we can usually be found catching up on our DVR recorded shows.  I usually end up falling asleep here before our show is over.  Also, this has become our official laptop spot.  This is where I am blogging now, with a movie on in the background.  Even though Jesse has an office with a perfectly good desk upstairs, he is always working here.  After leaning to reach the laptop on the coffee table all day, he still wonders why is back is sore.

This is our entertainment center we got a 50% discount on because of the damage!  You really can’t see it but the top right corner is smashed in a tiny bit.  I guess that made no one else want it.  All it needed was a little brown marker and no one has noticed… good as new!  The doors slide shut to put books and stuff, but we usually never have those doors closed.  Jesse is looking forward to buying a TV that will fill the spot in there.  Our TV seemed plenty big in our small apartment when our couch was only a couple feet away, but now I need my glasses to watch from across the room.

The other thing we like to do is watch the neighbors and kids outside.  Lately there has been a bunch of people fishing in the little pond every night.  We can’t figure out why everyone is so interested in the pond all of a sudden because we never see them catch anything.

We also love our view.  Even though we don’t actually have a backyard, we like to think this is our backyard.  Just look at how perfect that sky looks. If it was a different and cooler time of year, I might have picked outside to relax.
